This wine was harvested and blended in the field by members of our wine club on October 25th, 2020. The reason to make a field blend is so the flavors of the two varietals can harmonize even before fermentation begins, resulting in a truly different experience. Deep cherry will be the first sensation, followed by black currants, blackberry, and a hint of cedar. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Hill block, and 50% Cabernet Franc from the Twelve Rows block on the eastern side of the vineyard.
