Our first vintage of Striking Distance in 2015 was rated at 95 points, and was one of the Top 100 wines of 2018. While accolades are just that, what matters is what the wine tastes like and the joy it delivers. We did it again in 2019. Opening with a sweet cherry flirtation, the 2019 Striking Distance moves quickly to illustrate its depth and complexity. This wine's youthful vigor will be present for twenty years. And while there's power, the structure is focused on elegance over weight. Fermented in an open top stainless bin, aged in French Oak.  Harvested October 2019.
